FCC Communities Foundation Grant
Funding has been approved for new play equipment at Redwood Drive Playground
The young people of Waddington are set to get new play equipment at Redwood Drive Playground, thanks to a £76,517.40 grant from FCC Communities Foundation.
The money, will be used to replace some old equipment and add some much-needed inclusive play equipment to the playpark.
The Councillors of Waddington Parish Council believe the improvements will make a huge difference to the young people who live in the area.
The project will provide a real boost to the young people of Waddington. It’s fantastic that FCC Communities Foundation has awarded us this money and we’re really looking forward to our Playpark improvements taking shape over the next few months.
FCC Communities Foundation is a not-for-profit business that awards grants for Community projects through the Landfill Communities Fund.
The Council have agreed to work with Proludic on the project. Proludic are a company based in Nottingham that have over 35 years of experience.
The plans are for new multiplay equipment to replace some old equipment, along with additions of an inclusive swing, inclusive roundabout, a playhouse and some playboards. All with new safety surfacing and fencing.
