Parish Council Meeting

The Parish Council Meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the Month, every month, and start at 7pm in the Community Hub, High Street. The next meeting will be on Monday 12th October 2026.

Waddington Parish Council

There will be a 30 minute public forum between 7.00pm and 7.30pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also required during this period.

The Police, RAF and any County and District Councillors present will make a short address during this time.

  1. Apologies for absence. (Reasons to be given to the Clerk in advance of the meeting)

 

  1. Declarations of interest for any agenda item.

 

  1. Signing of the minutes.  To accept the Clerk’s notes from the meeting held on the 14th September 2026.

 

  1. Finance.
    1. Annual Audit Return – To discuss the completed annual audit return.
    2. Monthly finance report – to receive and accept the monthly finance report.
    3. Approving the payments. To resolve to pay the bank transfers listed by the RFO and certify invoices.

 

  1. Clerk’s Report and Correspondence.

 

  1. Matters arising from the last meeting.  Only for discussion.

 

  1. HR Committee Meeting.  To receive, approve and discuss the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 15th September. 

 

  1. Planning Committee Meeting.  To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 5th October.

 

  1. Community Emergency Plan Meeting.  To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 5th October.

 

  1. Internal Auditor Terms of Reference.  To receive and discuss terms of reference for the internal auditor.

 

  1. Cliff Village Medical Practice.  To discuss the doctor’s surgery and the problems residents are having.

 

  1. Letter of Complaint from a Resident regarding Goal Posts on Redwood Drive Playing Field.

To receive and discuss the letter received from a resident.

 

  1. Hiring / loaning out of Parish Council assets.  To discuss hiring / loaning out items such as marquees, rubber mats, trailers.

 

  1. Redwood Drive Playground.  An update on the improvements to Redwood Drive Playground.

 

  1. Urgent matters for attention – Items which the Chairman is of the opinion should be considered as a matter of urgency due to special circumstances.

 

  1. Date of the next meeting.  Monday 9th November 2026 in the Community Hub.
