Parish Council Meeting

The Parish Council Meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the Month, every month, and start at 7pm in the Community Hub, High Street. The next meeting will be on Monday 13th April 2026.

Waddington Parish Council

There will be a 30 minute public forum between 7.00pm and 7.30pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also required during this period.

The Police, RAF and any County and District Councillors present will make a short address during this time.

OFFICIAL BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL

 

  1. Apologies for absence. (Reasons to be given to the Clerk in advance of the meeting)
  2. Declarations of interest for any agenda item.
  3. Signing of the minutes.  To accept the Clerk’s notes from the Council meeting held on the 9th March 2026.
  4. Finance.
    1. Monthly finance report – to receive and accept the monthly finance report.
    2. Approving the payments. To resolve to pay the bank transfers listed by the RFO and certify invoices.
  5. Clerk’s Report and Correspondence.
  6. Matters arising from the last meeting.  Only for discussion.
  7. Redwood Drive Playground.  To discuss the grant application, documentation and decisions made by the Facilities Management Committee. 
  8. To receive and discuss a letter regarding the burial ground. 
  9. Speed Indicator device.   To discuss purchasing another Speed indicator device and moving the current one.
  10. Cricket Pavilion.  To discuss the costs and the progress to date.
  11. Urgent matters for attention – Items which the Chairman is of the opinion should be considered as a matter of urgency due to special circumstances.
  12. ‘In Camera’ item.  Resolution: In view of the special/confidential nature of the business about to be transacted it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded and they are instructed to withdraw.                                                                              a)   HR Committee.   To receive and discuss the minutes of the HR Committee meeting held on 17th March 2026. 
  13. Date of the next meeting.  Monday 11th May 2026 in the Community Hub.
