Waddington Parish Council
In 2025…. how strange it feels saying that, I can’t believe we are a month into 2026 already. In 2025, we applied for some free fruit trees from NKDC under their Community Orchard scheme, and on the 10th December we received 10 fruit trees, a mixture of apple, pear and plum. A group of Council staff and Parish Councillors have planted the trees on Sydney Hall Field. The trees are there for the Community, so anyone can help themselves to the fruit, and help care for them.
Christmas Dinner, on Christmas Day we put on a Christmas Dinner for residents of Waddington who would be alone at Christmas. Paul, kindly volunteered to organise it and do the cooking, with help from volunteers from the Parish Council and residents. We would like to thank, Paul, Martyn, Dave, Carol and Elsie from the Parish Council, and residents Ted, Gabrielle, Dianne, Maggie, Sammi and Brian, who were involved in some way, either on the day, and/or on Christmas Eve preparing. We would also like to thank, Burgess’s Farm Shop, Red Roof Clinic and St Michaels Church, for their contribution towards the day, their kind donations helped make the day a success. A very successful day for the community, that we hope to do again this year.
Summer Fair Weekend, put the date in your diary, this years Summer Fair Weekend will be on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June, at the Waddington Village Hall and Playing Field. As last year we will be having a fun fair, entertainment, stalls, food and drink, and more. This year we are looking at holding a Waddington’s Got Talent Competition, we will be updating you with more information about this in the coming months.

The office is open Monday, 2.30pm to 5.30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am to 12.30pm, but we can be contacted outside of the these hours.
